DESCRIPTION:At the end of 2022\, Casey broke their self-imposed exile from the music industry and returned with two stunning new songs. It had been about four years since the Welsh five-piece had called it a day\, but ‘Great Grief’ and ‘Atone’ showed that none of their passion or intensity had been diluted. They offered a reintroduction to Casey\, and the response to them was\, predictably\, overwhelmingly positive. \nAnd so\, just about a year after the band’s reunion\, Casey released their third full-length album\, aptly titled How To Disappear\, in January ‘24. It’s a record that many people – members of the band included – never thought would ever get made. And while its 12 phenomenal songs certainly match the incredibly high standards of the band’s back catalogue\, this is also Casey Mark II\, a band solidified by their many previous years of close friendship\, and buoyed by once more doing what they love together. \nThe result is the band’s most accomplished album to date – one that thrives on the chemistry that was present between the five members even when they formed in 2014. As ever\, these Casey songs don’t just replicate the feelings that inspired them\, they embody them. They become them. They’re not about those emotions\, they are those emotions\, brought to life by the precision crafting of the band. \nAt the heart of the record is vocalist Tom Weaver’s lyrics. While previously he’s been incredibly candid with his lyrics\, drawing from intensely personal experiences about both his life and his ill health\, on this album he wrestles with something more abstract and intangible – the notion of absence. While death is an ominous presence on this record\, it’s not morbid in the slightest. Rather\, the intention was to transform the default emotions we feel about death from sadness into something more positive and hopeful. \nIn January of ‘24 Casey celebrated the release of How To Disappear while travelling across America on tour with Holding Absence\, embracing the band’s unequivocal return to the fore. Weaver’s health\, however\, took an unexpected decline while on tour\, leading to urgent hospitalisation and having to miss several of the shows. Following further tests once home\, it was clear Weaver required serious medical attention\, leading to the cancellation of all further touring for the year as he underwent heart surgery\, and the much needed period of rest that followed. \nTwo year’s on from it’s release\, therefore – and with Weaver back to full health – Casey return in Spring ’26 to finally take third album How To Disappear on the road across England and Europe. Discussing the excitement and anticipation to finally celebrate the release on the road\, Weaver comments: \n“A large part of How to Disappear is spent wrestling with the question of what comes after. Little did I know that a month after releasing it\, I’d come almost face to face with that question.  \nHard to believe it’s been almost two years since the record came out\, and we’ve never really had the chance to celebrate it. It’s been a difficult few years\, much longer than we’d intended to take away from performing so soon after returning to making music again. \nBut 2026 is a special year for Casey. It marks 10 years of Love Is Not Enough; the album that made all of this possible for us. And before we celebrate that\, we want to make sure How To Disappear has its flowers. \nNext March and April\, we’ll be playing shows across England and Europe in celebration of our third full length record\, How To Disappear. We’ll be bringing along Mirrortalk for the UK shows\, and some other friends that we’ll announce at a later date. \nSorry for being away for so long\, thank you all so much for your patience\, can’t wait to see you all again in the New Year.”

We’ve been around for more than two decades\, just the two of us\, making records\, touring the world\, building our own little universe for ourselves and anyone who wants to join us. We like to call ourselves a rock band because that means almost nothing at all and we find that funny\, partly because we actually are definitely a rock band. \nIn 2026 we’re releasing our first new music in 4 years\, which was entirely written\, produced and mixed by us\, something we’re quite proud of. We’re heading out on our first full tour since we played our 20th anniversary shows in 2024\, we’re going across UK and EU with a set full of songs taken from all of our albums and whole load of our new music. The shows will be as loud as your country’s laws allow us to be.

DESCRIPTION:YAELOKRE\n\nIf you ever feel as if music has lost its capacity for surprise\, the beguiling wonder and infinite creativity of Yaelokre will respark your belief. The Filipino-Icelandic artist – real name Keath Ósk (they/it) – fuses three imaginative strands to their visionary expression: intimate\, innocent folk infused with leftfield surrealism and instant pop accessibility; artwork which is intricately detailed and beautifully alluring; and storytelling which brings personal experience and poetry into rich\, fable-like narratives. What’s more\, all three of these elements are crafted by this one visionary artist. \nThe scale of the fantastical world they have created is vast\, both in terms of narrative and lore. But its essence is relatively simple. The songs are set in the fictional world of Meadowlark and chart the adventures of four masked children who comprise a musical ensemble known at The Lark: Cole Seymour\, Clémente Dearworth\, Peregrine August\, and Kingsley. They perform as representatives of The Harkers\, mythical beings who express the fundamental principles of nature\, wonder and chaos. What’s more\, Yaelokre voices all of the different characters within their universe. \nThis immersive\, escapist story is largely inspired by Yaelokre’s own life. The four Larks represent different stages of their childhood\, and writing their songs felt cathartic for their creator. As Yaelokre explains\, “Their stories are way for me to cut myself up into pieces\, so I can tackle the smaller issues easily rather than going full-on into the big problems straight-up. This project revolves around lessons that I’ve learned from life\, and each song has a lesson.” \nThose recurring lessons vary in nature\, but those wisdoms all feel like universal truths. “The main lesson is to listen\, be kind and spread compassion. Be courageous. Do not let yourself be fenced in. Chaos is natural\, and it’s not always a bad thing. You have to mind the past so you can find a better future. You need to be open-minded. And most importantly\, you need to live in the moment: now is more important than anything.” \nAnd while on first listen there’s a childlike innocence to the project\, you only need to scratch the surface of its lyrics to reveal flashes of gothic horror which reflect the savagery of the natural world. \nWhile that’s all fascinating\, you may also feel that from what we’ve revealed that Yaelokre’s artistry is for a very niche audience. This couldn’t be more wrong. Since debuting the project in January 2024\, Yaelkore has released seven tracks which have already amassed 180 million streams at Spotify. Their following is also fervently passionate\, with huge engagement at TikTok from their 1.5 million followers\, a vast 50-page fan-created Wiki\, and a sub-Reddit packed with theories\, fan art and cosplay. \nThat interest is sure to be intensified exponentially with the new single ‘Cole’s Response’. It’s both captivating and a curiosity as Yaelokre brings these characters to life with a vocal of pure expression and idiosyncratic cadence\, as well as their engaging voice acting. All much like a 16th century minstrel recast into the streaming age. \nAs for the song’s theme\, they explain: “It is Cole’s response to Clémente’s affection. Sometimes when you cannot comprehend something\, it gets very overwhelming\, in this case Cole as a child is experiencing a sort of ‘puppy love’ for the first time. They do not fully understand what it is just yet\, the song is written as though Cole is suffocating\, but at the end of it realises that it doesn’t really matter\, and everything is okay.” \n‘Cole’s Response’ will feature on the upcoming ‘Composing Colentine’ EP. It will add another new song\, ‘Hearken’\, alongside three previously released tracks which go deeper into Cole and Clémente’s back stories: ‘Kid & Leveret’\, ‘My farewells to the fields’ and ‘Bird cage blue and yellow’. The latter incorporates Filipino and Icelandic lyrics into the song\, which nods to their family heritage. It’s also representative of Yaelokre’s desire to never be boxed in or creatively stagnant\, and they assert that further genres\, themes and language will be infused into their artistic style as the project progresses. \nLong before becoming Yaelokre\, Keath Ósk was raised by a Filipino mother who would sing in competitions to raise money for the family\, and by an Icelandic father who introduced them to his love of illustration\, fantasy and folklore. Although an only child\, Keath never felt like one because of a close-knit group of friends. They remain in their life now\, and they’re visibly emotional at the prospect of leaving for London and being separated from them as their career takes shape. As remarkable as their many talents are\, Keath never had the opportunity to study music\, art or storytelling – it was more a case of putting in the 10\,000 hours needed to teach themselves to become a true polymath. \nThe Yaelokre name is an approximated portmanteau of yellow and ochre: the two warm colours being the dominant palette of much of their artwork. “That colour is how I envisioned the feeling of nostalgia to be\,” they explain. “Most of my memories as a child I have a tint in my eyes like I’m wearing glasses\, so that’s what I see.” \nTheir debut track ‘Hartebeest’ established the grassroots of a following\, before things went global with ‘Harpy Hare’. At first\, Yaelokre was torn by the attention. “I later realised that the reason I’m doing this project is for the people who are willing to understand. Especially with the wonderful fanbase\, they’re creative and dedicated\, and know that the main thing is to be kind and understanding.” \nWhile the confrontational tone of much of social media can be draining\, the Wonderfolk fandom feels a happy exception. It’s easy to imagine that for many\, the community is a safe space for outsiders and an escape from the stresses of daily life. And whether Yaelkore is talking about their art or their fanbase\, the word compassion recurs like a mantra. \nThe potential for Yaelokre is plain to see\, its arresting hybrid of music\, imagery and folklore both lending itself to a wide-range of artistic mediums and making for a live show quite unlike anything else. For Keath\, Yaelokre presents an opportunity to fulfil multiple ambitions via one artistic outlet. \n“I never imagined this would happen\,” Keath notes\, beaming from ear-to-ear. “The closest thing that I thought was possible would be telling stories to little children while they were sitting in front of me at the library. That was my dream. I wanted to be a storyteller. I wanted to read stories. I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher and I wanted to voice act. Nach Jahren des musikalischen Wachstums und stetigen Experimentierens schlägt der US-amerikanische Produzent nun ein neues kreatives Kapitel auf und bereitet den Weg für seine kommende “EDM”-Ära. Aber der Reihe nach…\n\nSeine musikalische Reise begann 2016 auf SoundCloud\, wo seine ersten Tracks innerhalb kürzester Zeit Millionen von Streams sammelten. Erste Erfolge führten zu internationaler Aufmerksamkeit und einem Signing beim Label von Avicii. Wenig später schloss sich Pluko dem von Odesza gegründeten Foreign Family Collective an\, veröffentlichte dort sein erstes Projekt und ging gemeinsam mit dem Duo auch auf Tour. \nWährend der Pandemie erschien dann sein Mixtape “Color Blind”\, das einen wichtigen Wendepunkt in seiner künstlerischen Entwicklung markierte. In den darauffolgenden Jahren zog sich Pluko jedoch bewusst etwas aus dem Rampenlicht zurück\, um seinen Sound und seine kreative Identität weiterzuentwickeln. Als er zurückkehrte\, begann er\, experimentelle Produktionsclips über Social Media zu teilen. Damit erregte er schnell Aufmerksamkeit und etablierte sich innerhalb der Producer-Community mit seinem außergewöhnlichen und kompromisslosen Sounddesign. \nMusikalisch bewegt sich Pluko – damals wie heute – bewusst abseits des Mainstreams. Seine Produktionen sind roh\, verzerrt\, repetitiv und hypnotisch. Einflüsse aus Future Bass\, Techno\, Trap und Internetkultur treffen auf granulare Synthesizer\, ungewöhnliche Sounds und Strukturen\, die sich nur schwer einem einzelnen Genre zuordnen lassen. Statt auf Vertrautheit setzt seine Musik auf Spannung und Überraschung – mit einer selbstbewussten\, von Punk inspirierten Haltung. \nAuch live überträgt Pluko diese Ästhetik auf die Bühne. Seine Shows sind dunkle\, energiegeladene und raveartige Erlebnisse\, bei denen die Musik und die Energie des Publikums im Mittelpunkt stehen. Rotes und weißes Licht\, sowie Nebel und Stroboskop-Effekte treffen auf verzerrte Vocals und eine bewusst rohe\, beinahe DIY-artige Atmosphäre. Das Ergebnis ist ein intensives und immersives Live-Erlebnis\, das die kompromisslose Identität seiner Musik unmittelbar spürbar macht. \nMit seinem 2025 erschienenen Projekt “OXY” läutete Pluko dieses neue kreative Kapitel ein. 2026 folgt mit “EDM” das nächste große Projekt\, dem er seine musikalische Vision konsequent weiterentwickelt.

Aus letzterem ging „Thin Ice“ hervor\, das 7\,1 Millionen Streams auf Spotify erzielte – Tendenz steigend. „Severance“ aus dem Jahr 2023 markierte einen Wendepunkt. Es bot beliebte Kollaborationen mit LANDMVRKS und Malevolence\, während KERRANG! ihren „einzigartigen Hardcore-Stil lobte\, der sie Elemente von Thrash\, Old-School-Hardcore und mitreißendem Metal erkunden lässt“.
