DESCRIPTION:THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOO PART II \n\n\nIt could’ve been a cold winter day or warm summer night in Finland – but it was around the year 2010. Someone came up with an idea to combine bluegrass\, Finnish folk and rock/metal music. The outcome was and has since been Steve’n’Seagulls. The band you didn’t know you missed but you do know you want to hear again. Hailing from Finland in Northern Europe – this jolly bunch is riding harder and faster than ever. To put it short: in 2014 the band filmed three live music videos back at the farm. The second one\, their new and fresh take on AC/DC classic Thunderstruck took the internet by storm. Suddenly this flock of seagulls found themselves touring around the world\, recording an album and touring harder than ever. Since 2014 Steve’n’Seagulls have recorded four studio albums. The debut album Farm Machine (2015) took the band on the road for 170 shows in Europe and North America. They rocked and made their audience smile from small clubs to some of the biggest festivals in Europe. In 2025\, the sun will lay its rays on the long-awaited fifth Steve ’n‘ Seagulls album – The Dark Side of the Moo! Recorded and produced with the same crew as the previous one\, Steve ’n‘ Seagulls have again found and torn down the limits of progressive bluegrass and newgrass. The album combines elements from genres that are hard to imagine together. Yet they meet and shake hands like old friends. Steve ’n‘ Seagulls‘ originals and some re-arranged classics form yet another interesting musical soup ready to be served on their The Dark Side of the Moo -tour around Europe in 2025. So far\, all four Steve ’n‘ Seagulls albums have hit the album charts in Finland and the Billboard bluegrass chart. Their music videos have gathered close to 346 million views on YouTube alone. They have played on some of the biggest festivals on this earth – including Wacken Open Air\, Rescontres Trans Musicales\, Nova Rock\, Sweden Rock etc. in over 30 countries and on four continents the audiences from small clubs to big festivals have witnessed their musical adventures and pure good times. DESCRIPTION:Fast 2 Jahre lang haben viko & penglord keine gemeinsame Musik veröffentlicht\, bis sie sich im Herbst 2025 mit “Diashow” zurückmeldeten. In der Zwischenzeit ist viel passiert. Entgegen der aktuellen Trends und Algorithmen haben sich die beiden dazu entschieden\, sich etwas zurückzunehmen\, um ihren ganz eigenen Sound zu finden. Ohne Druck\, ohne Erwartungen\, um dabei etwas Neues zu kreieren und trotzdem die vergangenen Projekte musikalisch mit einfließen zu lassen. \nHerausgekommen ist dabei das Album “Aquarium”\, das die beiden im Dezember 2025 veröffentlichten. In knapp 40 Minuten taucht man ab in einen Sound\, der gleichzeitig futuristisch\, aber auch nostalgisch klingt. Mit verträumten Synths\, tiefem Bass und verzerrten Gitarren zeigt penglord dabei wieder einmal sein Produktionstalent\, während viko irgendwo zwischen Gesang und Rap die passenden Lyrics liefert. Dass die Musik auch – oder auch erst recht – live funktioniert\, konnten viko & penglord schon beim ausverkauften Releasekonzert mit Band am 23.04.2026 in Berlin beweisen. \nAb Dezember kann man dann selbst in das “Aquarium” von viko & penglord eintauchen.
